Photography workshops to boost
workplace wellbeing and creativity.

Hosted by Gemma Taylor.

Workshop benefits

Invest time in creativity – science shows it pays off in health.

Grounded in the science of wellbeing, JOY workshops are designed for participants to:

  • Boost creativity and wellbeing

  • Develop their personal sense of photographic style and purpose

  • Increase natural collaboration

  • Feel valued and invested in

  • Reduce cortisol and stress

  • Feel refreshed and reset

  • Be inspired, and invigorated with new ideas

What to expect…

Participants will be supported to develop their own aesthetic style – and take photos with feeling. Additionally, they’ll leave with a personalised stress-reduction toolkit.

Designed for any level of experience, participants simply need a camera or phone.

Expect to leave the sessions feeling refreshed, brimming with ideas, and equipped with practical, effective ways to reduce stress.

A down-to-earth workshop, tailored for your team, packed full of creative challenges and inspiration.

Understand the thought-provoking science and theory behind creative and wellbeing practices – including why and how small actions can bring big benefits.

About Gemma

I’m Gemma – your workshop designer and host.

Photography is my work and (happy) obsession.

Over the years, I’ve worked with charities, international NGOs and UN agencies on creative projects focused on health, wellbeing and rights.

Along the way, my work has featured by outlets like The Guardian, BBC, The Independent, and travel magazines. My first photo book, The Leopard Print Portraits, will be published by Shutter Hub Editions in October 2025.

Through JOY workshops, I combine the wellbeing and photography practices that have always helped me refresh and reset – and I can help your team to do the same.

Say hi :)
