About Gemma
I’m Gemma – your workshop designer and host.
Photography is my joyful, creative outlet and also how I create purposeful work.
Over the years, I’ve worked with non-profits and UN agencies on photographic projects focused on health, wellbeing and rights.
Along the way, my work has been featured by outlets like The Guardian, BBC, The Independent, and travel magazines. My first photo book, The Leopard Print Portraits, launched autumn 2025 – published by Shutter Hub Editions.
JOY workshops brings together my wellbeing and photography expertise, and the practices that have always helped me refresh and reset while working in high pressure jobs – and I can help your team to do the same.
