Leopard print. No other print is as perennially and globally fashionable.

Since Christian Dior gave leopard print its catwalk debut in 1947, it has stirred strong opinions - from classy, tacky, subversive, sexy, fun or the height of glamour - but what is not disputed is the print’s iconic status.

In some cases, leopard print has even helped to define an icon - including Scary Spice and legendary British TV characters, Bet Lynch and Kat Slater.

This joyful collection of street portraits turns the spotlight onto everyday icons. Gemma Taylor photographs people across the UK who share her love of leopard print - as well as the occasional dog!
